Which banks does it support?
Convert PDF Statement has pre-built support for Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, US Bank, PNC, Truist, Capital One, TD, and Fifth Third. A smart fallback parser handles most other US bank formats, and the list keeps growing. Support is US banks only for now.
What if my bank isn't supported, or a statement doesn't convert correctly?
If a US statement doesn't come out right, use Report a problem in the app and we'll add support for that format and convert that statement for you at no charge, and we delete it once it's done.
Does my data get sent to your servers?
On the Pro and Business plans, that's your call per job. Use the desktop app and your statements are processed right on your own computer, with nothing uploaded anywhere. Use encrypted cloud conversion when it's more convenient, and those files are encrypted on upload and deleted automatically within 24 hours. The Starter plan runs in the cloud only.
Do you use AI?
No. Convert PDF Statement reads your statements with rule-based parsing, not AI. The same statement always produces the same result, and your data is never sent to a machine learning model or used for training. For client work, that predictability is what matters.
What's the difference between the desktop app and cloud conversion?
The desktop app processes statements right on your own computer, and those conversions are unlimited. You can download it and convert a few pages free, no signup needed. Unlimited desktop use is included on the Pro and Business plans. Cloud conversion runs in the browser, handy when you're away from your machine or working from a shared setup, and it draws from your plan's monthly cloud page allowance. The Starter plan is cloud-only. So the page counts on each plan apply to cloud use, and desktop conversions on Pro and Business are never metered.
Is there a free trial?
No, there's no time-limited trial. Instead, Convert PDF Statement has a free tier. Convert a few pages with no signup, or create a free account for a larger cloud allowance. The no-signup free pages also run in the Windows desktop app, so you can see the output and how it works before you pay for more volume.
Does the desktop app work on Mac?
Right now the desktop app runs on Windows. If you'd like a native Mac app, email support@convert-pdf-statement.com and let us know, it helps us gauge demand.
Can I use it for just one cleanup job?
Yes. For a one-off catch-up job, you can subscribe monthly, convert the statements you need, and cancel when you're done. Plans are month-to-month or annual, so a single engagement doesn't lock you into a year.
